Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 11/13 and 11/14 (Australia). Current Phillies bolded and underlined.
Arizona Fall League :
The Surprise Saguaros advanced to Saturday’s championship game with a 4-3 win against the Mesa Solar Sox. Dante Nori played center field and made a stellar catch, he was 0 for 5 at the dish. Dylan Campbell (3B) was 1 for 4 (single). RHP Jack Dallas pitched 1.2 innings (3 R, 3 H, 2 BB, 3 K’s - 46 pitches - 30 strikes).
Dominican Winter League :
Johan Rojas (CF) went 1 for 4 (single) with two stolen bases for the Gigantes del Cibao in a 3-2 win against the Toros del Este. Bryan De La Cruz (RF) was 0 for 4 in the game for the Toros. RHP Jeurys Famila posted a save with a scoreless ninth inning (2 H, 2 K’s) for the Aguilas Cibaenas in a 7-6 win over the Leones del Escogido. Rodolfo Duran (C) was 2 for 3 (singles) for the Estrellas Orientales in a 6-2 loss to the Tigres del Licey. RHP Adonis Medina pitched three scoreless innings (2 H, 1 BB, 3 K’s) for the Tigres.
Mexican Winter League :
Luis Verdugo (SS) went 3 for 4 (singles) with a run scored for the Tomateros de Culiacán in a 9-4 win over the Charros de Jalisco.
Venezuela Winter League :
RHP Andrew Schultz pitched a perfect inning for the Tigres de Aragua in a 5-3 loss to the Cardenales de Lara. RHP Max Castillo pitched six innings (2 R, 6 H, 1 BB, 6 K’s) for the Cardenales.
Puerto Rico Winter League :
RHP Eric Garcia pitched a scoreless inning (1 K) for the Leones de Ponce in a 3-1 loss to the Cangrejeros de Santurce. RHP Carlos Francisco pitched a perfect inning and LHP Keylan Killgore pitched one third of an inning (1 BB) to record his first save in a 1-0 win for the Indios de Mayaguez against the Gigantes de Carolina. Vimael Machin (2B) went 2 for 4 with two RBIs for the Criollos de Caguas in a 9-6 loss to the Senadores de San Juan. Jadiel Sanchez (RF) was 1 for 4 with a walk and two runs scored for the Senadores.
Australian Baseball League :
LHP Camron Hill pitched 1.2 innings (4 R, 4 H, 2 BB, 1 K - 37 pitches - 22 strikes) for the Adelaide Giants in a 8-3 loss to the Perth Heat. Alirio Ferrebus (C) went 2 for 5 (singles) with a run scored, Devin Saltiban (CF) was 1 for 4 (single) and posted two RBIs and also reached base on a HBP. Nick Ward (2B) was 1 for 5 (single) with a walk and run scored. Jordan McArdle was 2 for 4 (singles) with a walk. Tim Kennelly was 1 for 3 (single) with two RBIs for Perth.
