Phillies minor league pitcher Mike Adams will be interviewed on West Chester radio station WCHE tomorrow morning ( 12/20 ) at 9:15 AM. Mike is a great story of perseverance having signed with the Phillies on 1/19/21 after graduating college in 2016 and then working as a scout and baseball instructor in South Jersey. He co-owns the Baseball Performance Center in Pleasantville, NJ and was teaching pitching techniques when he was signed at a tryout camp by the Phillies where he showed an upper nineties fastball.
Mike started the 2021 season at High A Jersey Shore and appeared in 14 games, he was promoted to AAA Lehigh Valley on 6/25/21 and finished the year with the Iron Pigs posting a 3.65 ERA in 30 games ( 37 IP ) as a multi inning reliever. Just one step away from the big leagues !
