Ockimey is 26 years old and is a native of Philadelphia having played high school baseball at Neumann Goretti HS. He was the 5th round draft choice of the Red Sox in the 2014 draft. Josh is a left handed hitter and played last season for Worcester in the International League and hit 15 home runs in 98 games ( 223 AB’s ). He’s hit 96 home runs over his seven year minor league career in 677 games and has posted 357 RBIs.
