Victor Diaz has been hired to serve as a pitching coach at Carpenter Complex. Coach Diaz comes from Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach, Florida where he has been the Pitching Coach for the Division Two level Eagles - a member of the Sunshine State Conference.
Coach Diaz has been the pitching coaching at Embry-Riddle since 2019. He previously coached as an assistant at Kentucky Wesleyan and Old Dominion after finishing his collegiate pitching career with Old Dominion University ( 2013-2016 - appeared in 58 games - 25 starts). Diaz also played collegiately at State College of Florida in Brandenton and at Mississippi State. He played high school baseball at St Joseph’s High School in Perth Amboy, NJ, graduating from there in 2010.
