Cardenales de Lara 8 (8-6) Aguilas del Zulia 1 (7-8) - Ali Castillo (2B) was 1 for 3 (double) for the Aguilas.
Caribes de Anzoategui 9 (10-5) Bravos de Margarita 3 (3-11) - Herlis Rodriquez (CF) went 3 for 4 (single & two home runs) with a walk, two RBIs and two runs scored for the Caribes.

Australian Baseball League : Championship Series : best of three
Sydney Blue Sox 6 (1-1) Adelaide Giants 1 (1-1) - RHP Giuseppe Velasquez started and pitched 4.1 innings (3 R, 5 H, 2 BB, 4 K’s - 77 pitches - 45 strikes) and LHP Camron Hillretired the only two batters he faced (1 K - 10 pitches - 6 strikes) in relief for Adelaide. Nick Ward, Robbie Glendinning, Jordan McArdle and Mitchell Edwards each had singles in the game - the Giants were held to six hits. Raylin Heredia (LF) drew two walks in four plate appearances.
