The league has also entered into it’s playoff tournament however Covid issues shut down the Mayaguez/Manati game today.

Outfielder Jadiel Sanchez had two hits for Team RA12 in today’s playoff game against Caguas including a double. The nineteen year old had a very good regular season showing against older competitors ... hitting .250 in 44 AB’s with 2 doubles and a triple while playing very good defensively in right field.

LHP Gabriel Cotto threw 2 1/3 perfect innings in game one of the playoffs for RA12 on Saturday with two strikeouts. The 20 year old Cotto pitched in seven games during the regular season posting a 1.00 ERA in 9 IP ... he struggled early with command bunching nine walks but pitched very well as the season went on.
