Arizona Fall League (AFL) :
The Phillies are part of the Scottsdale team this year. Here are game notes from last night as they pertain to the Phillies.
10/13/23 : Scottsdale 8 (6-4) Glendale 7 (2-9) - ten innings
Oliver Dunn played second base and batted third in the lineup. He went 3 for 5 with an RBI. Oliver also stole two bases. In limited play thus far he’s hitting .450 (5 games, 20 AB’s, 9 hits, 3 runs, 2 doubles, triple, HR, 3 RBIs, 3 walks, .522 OBP, 1.322 OPS).
Gabriel Rincones Jr is also off to a great start in the AFL (8 games played, 10 for 31, .323 batting average, HR, 5 RBIs, 6 walks, .447 OBP, .995 OPS).

Dominican Winter League :
LHP David Parkinson will pitch for the Leones del Esgido (https://lidom.com/leones-anuncian-contrataciones-de-guerra-y-parkinson/). David had a solid season this summer pitching at Reading (9-5, 3.56 ERA, 24 appearances, 126 1/3 IP). He will both start and be used as a bulk reliever for Leones with an innings limit imposed before he returns stateside. Best wishes to David, another good young man we’ve come to know 👍.
LHP Jhordany Mezquita is pitching for Aguilas Cibaenas. As previously mentioned OF Carlos De La Cruz is playing for Gigantes del Cibao and LHP Taylor Lehman is pitching for Tigres del Licey.
OF Jhailyn Ortiz is on the pre-season roster for Leones del Escogido as is former Phillie minor league catcher Deivy Grullon. Other former Phillies playing in the league include outfielder Jorge Bonifacio (his 11th year in the Dominican Winter League) who’s playing for Tigres del Licey and catcher Rodolfo Duran playing for Estrellas Orientales.
League play opens on 10/19/23.
