Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in winter leagues.
Arizona Fall League :
10/15 : Dylan Campbell went 2 for 3 (singles) with a walk and two runs scored for the Saguaros in a 6-2 win. Campbell played right field, his fourth position in four games (has also played second, third and center field). He’s off to a great start hitting .455 (5 for 11) with a 1.497 OPS. RHP Jack Dallas pitched two scoreless innings in the game and was dominant - he allowed no hits, walked one and struck out five batters 👀 - 34 pitches - 21 strikes, 5 swings and misses (9 sweepers, 9 four seamers, 8 changeups,4 sliders,3 sinkers and a cutter - fastball was 94 to 95 mph, sweeper RPM was 2734 to 2932). Bryan Rincon played shortstop and was 0 for 4 although he hit a ball with an exit velocity of 103.2 - third highest in the game. The Saguaros are now 4-1.
Dominican Winter League :
10/15 : Felix Reyes played first base for the Toros and went 1 for 4 with a double and RBI in a 7-3 loss to the Estrellas. Former Phillies infielder Yairo Munoz went 2 for 4 in the game for the Toros. Rodolfo Castro had a big night for Estrellas going 2 for 3 with five RBIs - he singled and hit a three run home run.
Raylin Heredia was a defensive substitute in right field for the Gigantes in a 4-3 loss to Aguilas. RHP Adonis Medina pitched two scoreless innings in relief for the Tigres in a 4-3 win over the Leones.
Mexican Winter League :
10/15 : Former Phillies minor league outfielder Jared Carr went 1 for 4 (double) for Guasave in a 5-2 win over Culiacan.
