Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 10/19.
Arizona Fall League :
10/19 : Dylan Campbell went 1 for 3 with a home run and played center field for the Surprise Saguaros in a 15-4 loss to the Scottsdale Scorpions. Bryan Rincon played shortstop in the game and was 0 for 2 with a walk. RHP Daniel Harper had a rough outing (2/3 IP, 4 R, 6 H, 0 BB, 0 K’s - 25 pitches - 18 strikes). RHP Tommy McCollum pitched a scoreless inning (1 BB, 1 K - 15 pitches - 9 strikes).
Dominican Winter League :
10/19 : Rodolfo Castro went 1 for 2 (HR) with two RBIs and two runs scored for the Estrellas Orientales in a 9-4 win over the Gigantes del Cibao. Former Phillies minor league LHP Jhordany Mezquita pitched 1/3 of an inning striking out the only batter he faced for the Aguilas Cibaenas in a 4-0 win over the Tigres del Licey.
Mexican Winter League :
10/19 : former Phillies minor league outfielder Jared Carr went 1 for 3 (single) with two runs scored and former Phillies minor league infielder Jorge Flores was 2 for 4 (singles) with two runs scored and two RBIs for the Algodoneros de Guasave in a 8-5 win over the Charros de Jalisco. Former Phillies minor league first baseman Darick Hall hit a grand slam home run for the Naranjeros de Hermosillo in a 5-3 win against the Tucson Baseball Team. Former Phillies minor league RHP Pedro Reyes pitched four scoreless innings (2 H, 2 BB, 4 K’s) for the Tomateros de Culiacán in a 4-2 victory against the Águilas de Mexicali.
Venezuela Winter League :
10/19 : LHP Cristhian Tortosa pitched 2/3 of an inning (2 R, 2 H, 2 BB - 25 pitches - 13 strikes) for the Cardenales de Lara in a 16-9 loss to the Tiburones de La Guaira. Former Phillies minor league outfielder Herlis Rodriguez went 2 for 4 (single & triple) for the Caribes de Anzoategui in a 11-9 loss to the Leones del Caracas. Former Phillies minor league RHP Gregory Infante pitched a perfect inning in relief for the Tigres de Aragua in a 3-1 loss to the Bravos de Margarita. Former Phillies minor league RHP Luis Pacheco earned the save for the Bravos by pitching a scoreless inning (2 H, 1 K).
Puerto Rico Winter League : League play begins 11/6/25
It was announced that two current Phillies minor league pitchers will pitch for the Cangrejeros De Santurce team - RHP Andrew Baker and LHP Tristan Garnett.
Australian Baseball League : League play begins 11/13/25
Clearwater High Performance Camp :
Invited participants began a five week camp focused on agility, strength and conditioning today at the Carpenter Complex. Very limited baseball activities - intent is to prepare the participants for off-season work when they break camp and for 2026 camps which begin in January.
Other News :
Former Phillies minor league outfielder Jordan Viars has re-signed with the Cleburne Railroaders of the American Association. After being released last summer by the Phillies he played with Cleburne to finish the year. Former Phillies minor league RHP Julian Garcia has re-signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds. Julian originally signed with Cincinnati on 8/26/25 and started three games (16.1 IP, 1.16 ERA) for their AA level Chattanooga squad.
