10/26/22 : Arizona Fall League results ( Phillies contingent )

The Surprise Saguaro's won again last night bringing their league leading record to 12-7.  Jhailyn Ortiz was 2 for 3 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI in the club’s 9-3 win over Glendale.  Ortiz is 6 for his last 13 ( .462 ) with 2 home runs and 6 RBI’s.  Carlos De La Cruz was 1 for 4 with a walk and 2 RBI’s, he scored a run.

RHP Cristian Hernandez pitched a scoreless inning in relief allowing one hit while striking out two batters, he threw 19 pitches - 14 for strikes.  Cristian now has a 1.29 ERA in 6 appearances ( 7 IP ) with 6 K’s and 1 walk.  The 22 year old posted similar numbers in July as a member of the Jersey Shore Blue Claws ( 6 appearances - 11 2/3 IP - 11 K’s, 2 BB ).  After converting to pitching out of the bullpen during the season he posted a 3.22 ERA over 36 1/3 IP with 36 K’s and 10 walks with Jersey Shore this summer..

The Arizona Fall League regular season ends on November 10th.
