Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 11/10 and 11/11. Current Phillies bolded and underlined.
Arizona Fall League (AFL) :
11/10 - Dylan Campbell went 2 for 3 (singles) while Dante Nori (CF) and Bryan Rincon (SS) were held hitless in a 2-1 loss by the Surprise Saguaros to the Peoria Javelinas. RHP Danyony Pulido pitched a scoreless inning (2 BB, 1 K - 16 pitches - 7 strikes).
11/11 : In the final regular season game of the year for the Surprise Saguaros Dylan Campbell (2B) went 3 for 3 (single, triple and home run) with two RBIs and a walk in a 5-2 loss to the Salt River Rafters. RHP Jaydenn Estanista pitched a perfect inning (1 K - 15 pitches - 10 strikes).
Dylan Campbell ends the AFL regular season with a .304/.419/.625 slash line and 1.044 OPS in 19 games - 74 plate appearances - 4 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs, 16 RBIs, 14 walks, 17 strikeouts and 4 stolen bases. Dante Nori finished with a .308/.386/.436 slash line with a .822 OPS in 44 plate appearances with 2 doubles, 1 home run, 7 RBIs, 5 walks, 7 strikeouts and 2 stolen bases. Shortstop Bryan Rincon struggled at the dish going 3 for 44 but did have some 100 mph exit velo contacts that were caught - Bryan also had a hamate bone injury this year he’s returning from - one of the most difficult to come back from as a hitter.
RHP Jack Dallas finished the AFL regular season with a 1.00 ERA in 4 games (9 IP) with 15 K’s and 7 walks, he also pitched an inning in the All-Star game. RHP Eiberson Castellano is now a minor league free agent - he made four starts (14 IP) and recorded a 3.86 ERA with 18 K’s and 7 walks showcasing the curve ball as his signature pitch. RHP Jaydenn Estanista appeared in eight games (8 IP - 10 K’s, 7 walks) - his overall ERA of 5.63 was inflated by two outings (four runs in 1.1 IP) - in his other six appearances the ERA was 1.59 in 5.2 IP. RHP Tommy McCollum appeared in five games (5 IP) with a 3.60 ERA (7 K’s, 5 BB) - he was excused from play on 11/1 for a very important life event - he and his now wife got married, congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. McCollum! RHP Daniel Harper had one bad outing in his seven appearances in which he was tagged for four runs in two thirds of an inning - in his other six games he posted a 1.50 ERA over six innings pitched. RHP Danyony Pulido was added to the roster when McCollum left - he appeared in two games (1.2 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 2 K’s). Danyony will head to Australia and pitch for the Adelaide Giants once the AFL year concludes.
The league playoffs begin today (11/12) - Salt River will play Mesa in an elimination game while Glendale will play Peoria. Surprise and Scottsdale will play the two winners on Thursday in another set of single elimination games - the two winners advance to the league championship game on Saturday.
Dominican Winter League :
11/10 : Bryan De La Cruz (RF) went 1 for 5 (single) and Rafael Lantigua (SS) was 2 for 4 (singles) with a walk while Yairo Munoz (3B) went 1 for 3 (double) with a walk, RBI and run scored for the Toros del Este in an 12-4 win against the Leones del Escogido. RHP Aneurys Zabala pitched a scoreless inning (1 H, 1 K) for the Leones. LHP Jordi Martinez pitched a scoreless inning (1 BB) for the Tigres del Licey in a 4-0 loss to the Estrellas Orientales. Jordi is returning from TJ surgery in 2024, he missed the entire 2025 season. It was his second appearance of the season for Licey - the twenty five year old was a rising reliever in the Phillies organization before being sidelined by the injury/surgery, he elected free agency in November of 2024 - if he can now return to form Jordi would be an intriguing pickup by an organization to sign.
11/11 : Bryan De La Cruz (RF) went 2 for 4 (singles) with an RBI and run scored for the Toros del Este in a 7-5 loss to the Estrellas Orientales. Johan Rojas (CF) was 2 for 4 (singles) for the Gigantes del Cibao in a 6-1 loss to the Aguilas Cibaenas. Jose Rodriguez (LF) walked twice in two plate appearances for the Aguilas - in ten games played (16 plate appearances) Jose has posted a .385/.437/.615 slash line and 1.044 OPS with a double and triple.
Mexican Winter League :
11/11 : Jon Singleton (DH) hit a two run home run (4th of season) for the Tomateros de Culiacán in a 9-8 win over the Charros de Jalisco. RHP Devin Sweet pitched a perfect inning (1 K) and RHP Efrain Contreras tossed a scoreless frame (1 BB) for the Yaquis de Obregón in a 3-2 win against the Águilas de Mexicali. RHP Erich Uelmen pitched five innings (2 R, 7 H, 2 BB, 4 K’s) for the Naranjeros de Hermosillo in a 7-6 victory over the Jaguares de Nayarit.
Venezuela Winter League :
11/11 : Simon Muzziotti (CF) was 2 for 4 (singles) for the Aguilas del Zulia in a 2-0 win against the Tigres de Aragua. LHP Rafael Marcano pitched an inning (1 R, 2 H) for the Caribes de Anzoategui in a 7-2 loss to the Bravos de Margarita.
Puerto Rico Winter League :
11/11 : RHP Andrew Baker pitched 1.1 scoreless innings (0 H, 1 BB, 1 K) for the Cangrejeros de Santurce in a 3-2 win against the Senadores de San Juan. Jadiel Sanchez (RF) was 1 for 2 with a walk and two RBIs for the Senadores. Dalton Guthrie (LF) was 2 for 5 and Jesmuel Valentin (2B) 2 for 4 with a walk for the Leones de Ponce in a 4-2 win against the Indios de Mayaguez. RHP Carlos Francisco (just recently married - congrats!) pitched 2/3 of an inning (1 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 1 K) and LHP Keylan Killgore pitched 1.1 scoreless frames (1 H, 1 K) for Mayaguez. RHP Yacksel Rios pitched a scoreless inning (2 K’s) for the Criollos de Caguas in a 4-0 loss to the Gigantes de Carolina.
