Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 11/14 and 11/15 (Australia). Current Phillies bolded and underlined.
Arizona Fall League :
11/14 : The Surprise Saguaros defeated the Peoria Javelinas 9-4 in the Championship Game to claim the AFL title. Dylan Campbell (DH) was 1 for 1 (single) with two walks, a run scored and RBI. Dante Nori (CF) was 0 for 2 in the leadoff spot. RHP Daniel Harper pitched a scoreless inning (1 BB, 2 K’s - 20 pitches - 12 strikes) as did RHP Jaydenn Estanista (1 BB, 1 K - 16 pitches - 11 strikes).
Dominican Winter League :
League break for the Dominican Republic vs. Puerto Rico Showdown in New York today (11/15) @ 1 PM.
League play resumes 11/17
Mexican Winter League :
11/14 : Jon Singleton (DH) went 2 for 4 (doubles) with two RBIs for the Tomateros de Culiacán in a 7-5 loss to the Algodoneros de Guasave. RHP Kyle Tyler pitched 6.1 innings (2 R, 6 H, 1 BB, 5 K’s - 100 pitches - 60 strikes) for Guasave.
Venezuela Winter League :
11/14 : Rafael Marchan (C) went 1 for 4 (double) with an RBI and run scored for the Tiburones de La Guaira in a 12-8 loss to the Caribes de Anzoategui. Wilson Garcia (DH) was 3 for 5 (three home runs) with four RBIs for the Bravos de Margarita in a 7-2 win over the Cardenales de Lara.
Puerto Rico Winter League :
League break for the Dominican Republic vs. Puerto Rico Showdown in New York today (11/15) @ 1 PM.
League play resumes 11/18
Australian Baseball League :
The Adelaide Giants and the Perth Heat played a doubleheader :
In Game One Nick Ward (2B) was 2 for 5 (singles) with a walk for Adelaide in a 9-6 ten inning win. Devin Saltiban (CF) was 0 for 5 with a walk while Alirio Ferrebus (PH-1B) was 0 for 1 with an RBI. RHP Giuseppe Velasquez pitched an inning (2 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 3 K’s - 27 pitches - 15 strikes).
In Game Two Alirio Ferrebus (C) went 1 for 3 (double) with an RBI. Devin Saltiban (CF) was 1 for 3 (single) with a run scored. Nick Ward (2B) was 1 for 3 (single) with a walk and run scored. Adelaide won the game 4-1.
Rixon Wingrove (RF/1B) went 1 for 2 (single) with a walk for the Brisbane Bandits in an 18-8 loss to the Sydney Blue Sox.
