Dominican League
The league began play on Sunday and a couple of our Phillies have seen game action.
RHP Ramon Rosso made his league debut on the 16th by tossing two scoreless innings in relief for Aguilas Cibaenas against Estrellas Orientales. Ramon only yielded one walk while striking out two batters. He recently texted me “ I am working hard, my focus is to continue improving my location in each pitch.” I’m a big Ramon Rosso fan and believe with his mix of pitches along with an above average velocity that he can have a very productive big league career. He’s a good young man as well.
RHP Enyel De Los Santos threw a scoreless inning for Tigres del Licey yesterday and struck out the side. He allowed only a walk.
LHP Christopher Sanchez yielded a run in 1/3 IP for Toros del Este last evening allowing a walk. He faced just two batters.

Mexico
In an exclusive “scoop” 🤫😎 I’ve learned that First Baseman Darick Hall will be heading out tomorrow to play in the Mexican Winter League for Caneros de los Mochis. It’s a great opportunity for the up and coming power hitter to make up for lost game action this past season. The league just resumed play yesterday after a shutdown for COVID issues that began on 11/6. Best wishes to Darick for a healthy and successful experience in what will be his first Winter Ball experience outside of the Arizona Fall League in 2018.
