Australian Baseball League :
Jared Carr ( played at Jersey Shore in 2022 ) hit three home runs for Adelaide in last night’s game against Geelong-Korea.
He went 3 for 5 - all three taters were solo drives. Rixon Wingrove was also 3 for 5 - he had two doubles. Catcher Anthony Quirion went 2 for 4 and leadoff hitter Nick Ward was 1 for 2 with two walks.
Geelong-Korea won the slug fest contest 23 to 11. Former Phillie RHP Austin Ross ( last played for Reading - released in June ) will be joining the Adelaide club.
Chris Burke went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, scored twice and drove in three runs for Melbourne in their 11-4 win over Perth.
Venezuelan Winter League :
Former Phillies minor league outfielder Carlos Tocci went 3 for 4 and scored twice for Tigres de Aragua in last nights game action against the Bravos.
Dominican Winter League :
Former Phillie minor league LHP Aaron Brown has joined the Tigres del Licey squad - he made his debut last night against the Toros. Phillies LHP Christopher Sanchez is now listed on the roster for Toros del Este.
