Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 11/27 and 11/28 (Australia). Current Phillies bolded and underlined.
Australian Baseball League :
Devin Saltiban (CF) was 2 for 4 (singles) with an RBI, Alirio Ferrebus (C) 1 for 4 (single) and Jordan McArdle (DH) 2 for 4 (single & double) with two RBIs while RHP Danyony Pulido pitched 1.1 innings (2 R, 3 H, 0 BB, 3 K’s - 34 pitches - 24 strikes) and Nick Ward (2B-1B) went 1 for 5 (single) for the Adelaide Giants in an 8-7 loss to the Sydney Blue Sox. Rixon Wingrove (1B) was 2 for 5 (singles) with an RBI and run scored for the Brisbane Bandits in a 10-9 win over the Perth Heat.
Mexican Winter League :
RHP Pedro Reyes threw a perfect frame for the Tomateros de Culiacán in a 7-2 loss to the Jaguares de Nayarit. RHP Efrain Contreras pitched two innings (1 R, 1 H, 4 K’s) for the Yaquis de Obregón in a 7-5 loss to the Naranjeros de Hermosillo.
Venezuela Winter League :
LHP Ethan Lindow pitched 1.1 scoreless innings (1 BB, 1 K) in relief for the Aguilas del Zulia in a 10-3 loss to the Navegantes del Magallanes. Ali Castillo (1B) was 1 for 4 (double) with a walk and run scored for the Aguilas. Wilson Garcia (DH) was 3 for 4 (two singles & grand slam HR) with six RBIs for the Bravos de Margarita in a 10-7 win over the Tigres de Aragua. RHP Andrew Schultz threw a perfect inning (1 K) in relief for the Tigres.
