Aguilas de Mexicali :
RHP Fernando Lozano threw three shutout innings in relief and posted his third win of the season ( he’s 3-0 ) in a 4-2 victory over Sultanes de Monterrey. The 20 year old allowed just three hits, no walks and struck out one batter. On the season he’s now appeared in 8 games ( 1 start ) and amassed 12 2/3 IP with a 1.42 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP. Fernando pitches to contact and has been very successful thus far in his young career. In today’s game where multi inning relievers have become increasingly valuable his stock certainly continues to rise !
Dominican League :
Odubel Herrera is slated to make his debut on Monday for Gigantes del Cibao. Odubel is very happy to get back on the field playing baseball again.
RHP Johan Quezada has been added to the roster of Toros del Este. He was claimed off waivers by the Phillies from the Miami Marlins on October 9th.
Venezuelan League :

Daniel Brito went 1 for 4 with an RBI as the DH. He’s 2 for 7 in the first two games.
