11/5/23 : Three Phillies (Gabriel Rincones Jr, Oliver Dunn & Andrew Baker) played in the all-star game. Here’s how they did :
“Gabriel Rincones Jr. didn't make it safely on base but did bat in a run on an infield chopper to first. Andrew Baker recorded two outs, spanning the eighth and ninth innings. Venezuelan Winter League :
11/5/23 : Simon Muzziotti hit a three run home run for Aguilas del Zulia in their 5-1 win over Bravos de Margarita. RHP Carlos Betancourt pitched two scoreless innings in relief (no hits, one walk,one strikeout) to earn the win and RHP Eiberson Castellano pitched an inning for Aguilas del Zulia (1 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 2 K’s). Rafael Marchan went 2 for 5 with two RBIs for Tigres de Aragua in their 10-6 victory over Cardenales de Lara. Former Phillie Odubel Herrera went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two walks for Cardenales de Lara.
Mexican Winter League :
11/5/23 : Former Phillies minor league RHP Fernando Lozano pitched five innings (1 R, 5 H, 2 BB, 4 K’s) for Águilas de Mexicali in their 2-1 win against Cañeros de Los Mochis.
