I am pleased to announce that the sixth edition of my Phillies minor league annual digest series entitled “The Comeback Season” has been published.
It features a foreword written by Larry Shenk, a preface on the history of minor league baseball by Jim Peyton and over 250 player profiles and projections by yours truly. Also included are recaps of the 2021 minor league season for each Phillies affiliate, statistical leaders, a review of 2021 minor league award winners and a chapter on a few of the Phillies personnel’s involvement in the Summer Olympics.
Featured throughout the book are approximately 150 color photos as taken by Cheryl Pursell ( LHV ), George Youngs Jr ( Reading ), Michael Dill ( Jersey Shore ), Mark Wylie ( Clearwater, Fall Instructs ) and Casey Burns ( Complex League ).
