Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 11/30. Current Phillies bolded and underlined.
Dominican Winter League :
Johan Rojas (DH) went 1 for 4 (singles) with two RBIs for the Gigantes del Cibao in a 4-3 win over the Tigres del Licey. Bryan De La Cruz (RF) went 2 for 4 (single, three run HR) with four RBIs and a walk while Rafael Lantigua (SS) was 2 for 4 (singles) with a walk, RBI and three runs scored for the Toros del Este in a 10-3 win over the Aguilas Cibaenas.
Mexican Winter League :
Nick Williams (RF) went 3 for 4 (two singles & double) with an RBI for the Cañeros de Los Mochis in a 7-0 win over the Naranjeros de Hermosillo.
Venezuela Winter League :
RHP Cristian Hernandez pitched a scoreless inning (1 BB) for the Caribes de Anzoategui in a 5-4 win against the Tigres de Aragua. Wilson Garcia (DH) hit his 11th home run of the season and drove in two runs for the Bravos de Margarita in a 14-8 win against the Leones del Caracas.
Puerto Rico Winter League :
RHP Yacksel Rios pitched two perfect innings (2 K’s) for the Criollos de Caguas in a 4-1 win over the Gigantes de Carolina. RHP Jose Peña Jr pitched a perfect inning (1 K) for the Cangrejeros de Santurce in a 3-1 win over the Senadores de San Juan. Dalton Guthrie (CF-3B) went 3 for 5 (singles) with a walk and run scored for the Leones de Ponce in a 4-3 ten inning loss to the Indios de Mayaguez.
