Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 12/13. Current Phillies bolded and underlined.
Dominican Winter League :
RHP Jose Cuas pitched a scoreless frame (3 H) for the Aguilas Cibaenas in a 3-2 loss to the Estrellas Orientales. Robert Moore (2B) was 0 for 3 with a walk for the Aguilas.
Mexican Winter League :
RHP Alan Rangel threw a perfect inning as did veteran RHP Fernando Salas for the Naranjeros de Hermosillo in a 2-0 loss to the Águilas de Mexicali. Nick Williams (RF) was 2 for 4 (singles) with a run scored for the Cañeros de Los Mochis in a 10-8 loss to the Charros de Jalisco. LHP Anthony Gose tossed a perfect frame for the Tomateros de Culiacán in a 2-1 victory against the Tucson Baseball Team. Jon Singleton (1B) went 2 for 4 (single & double) and Luis Verdugo (SS) homered for the Tomateros.
Venezuela Winter League :
Jose Godoy (C) went 2 for 3 (singles) with an RBI for the Aguilas del Zulia in a 4-1 loss to the Navegantes del Magallanes.
Puerto Rico Winter League :
LHP Keylan Killgore pitched 1.1 innings (0 R, 1 BB, 2 K’s) for the Indios de Mayaguez in a 5-2 win over the Criollos de Caguas. Dalton Guthrie (CF) went 2 for 4 (singles) for the Leones de Ponce in a 4-3 win over the Cangrejeros de Santurce. RHP Jose Peña Jr pitched two scoreless innings (1 H, 3 K’s) and RHP Andrew Baker went 2/3 of an inning (4 R - 3 earned, 3 H, 2 BB, 1 K) for the Cangrejeros.
