Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played on 12/21. Current Phillies bolded and underlined.
Dominican Winter League :
Robert Moore (2B) was 1 for 3 (single) with a walk and run scored for the Aguilas Cibaenas in a 6-1 win over the Estrellas Orientales. Bryan De La Cruz (RF) was 2 for 3 (singles) with two walks, an RBI and two runs scored for the Toros del Este in a 9-6 win over the Tigres del Licey.
Mexican Winter League :
LHP Anthony Gose pitched a scoreless inning (1 H, 1 BB) and Joey Meneses (1B) went 2 for 4 (singles) with an RBI and run scored for the Tomateros de Culiacán in an 8-0 win against the Algodoneros de Guasave.
Venezuela Winter League :
Leandro Pineda (RF) was 1 for 3 (double) with a walk for the Navegantes del Magallanes in a 7-3 loss to the Leones del Caracas. Wilson Garcia (DH) went 2 for 5 (double & HR) with five RBIs and a run scored for the Bravos de Margarita in a 18-7 loss to the Caribes de Anzoategui. Herlis Rodriguez (CF) was 3 for 5 (two singles & triple) with two walks, three RBIs and three runs scored for the Caribes.
Puerto Rico Winter League :
Vimael Machin (1B) went 2 for 4 (single & HR) with three RBIs for the Criollos de Caguas in a 6-5 loss to the Indios de Mayaguez. LHP Ethan Lindow started and pitched 4.1 innings (one unearned run, 5 H, 4 BB, 4 K’s) for the Senadores de San Juan in a 6-2 win over the Leones de Ponce.
