On this day known as Eve
I wish for true fellowship
In that hope I believe
For a united world
Without hate or restriction
Where all are equal
And kindness is condition
For those we’ve lost
That our memories reflect
Bring heartfelt warmth
And the honor of respect
Before one so sacred
On this day of Eve
That all have compassion
To fill each other’s need
For the love of the game
A passion each day I share
