Major League Practice : Day One - Full Squad :
Pitchers :
Side bullpens (seven mounds) - Brad Keller, Aaron Nola, Jesus Luzardo, Jonathan Bowlan, Jean Cabrera, Jonathan Hernandez and Andrew Painter
Pitchers fielding practice was held on the half field for those not throwing bullpens or live BP.
Live BP (Roberts) - Bryse Wilson (up down), Tim Mayza, Kyle Backhus - catchers - Paul McIntosh, Garrett Stubbs, Rafael Marchan - hitters - Bryson Stott, JT Realmuto, Rafael Marchan, Alec Bohm.
Live BP (Ashburn) - Trevor Richards, Alan Rangel, Zach Pop, Chase Shugart - catchers - Rene Pinto, Kehden Hettiger, Caleb Ricketts - hitters - Adolis Garcia, Kyle Schwarber, Edmundo Sosa, Dylan Moore, Bryce Harper.
Position Players :
Catchers : fielding, throwing and BP before bullpen and live BP sessions
Infielders : throwing, fielding and BP before live BP sessions
Outfielders : throwing, fielding and BP before live BP sessions
Observations :
Zach Pop looked strong today in live BP - he is a very deliberate worker. Aidan Miller hit four long home runs in BP. Word is that Aaron Nola had a very crisp bullpen session. Andrew Painter continues to impress - has his old arm slot back. Bryce Harper participated in live BP on Ashburn Field.

Transaction of Interest :
Former Phillies minor league outfielder Marcus Lee Sang has signed a minor league contract with the Texas Rangers. Marcus was drafted by the Phillies in the 11th round of the 2019 draft, he became a free agent this off season. While with the Phillies he was a very popular teammate and player with the coaches and fans.
