2/18/26 : Phillies sign RHP Connor Gillispie to minor league contract

RHP Connor Gillispie has signed a minor league contract for the 2026 season with the Phillies. The 28 year old pitched last season with the Miami Marlins and Minnesota Twins organizations appearing in six major league games with Miami - all starts - 26 IP, 8.65 ERA - he pitched at the AAA level in 12 games (10 starts) with Jacksonville (8 games) for the Marlins and St. Paul (4 games) for the Twins posting a combined 7.23 ERA in 47.1 IP.


Gillispie was selected in the 2019 draft by Baltimore in the 9th round from Virginia Commonwealth. He has pitched in 126 minor league games (65 starts) with a career ERA of 4.33 in 473.2 IP and in 9 major league games (34 IP) with a career 7.15 ERA.


Has pitched for four different organizations - Orioles, Marlins, Guardians and Twins.

He’s a four pitch pitcher featuring a sweeper, four seamer (low nineties), cutter, changeup and curve.
