Major League Baseball is in process of revising each team’s Spring Training Schedule to regionalize play so as to eliminate cross state travel and long bus trips.
The Phillies will now play 14 home games ... reduced from the originally scheduled 17 and will play 28 games overall.
Each team will schedule more Intra squad games in place of the original games eliminated ... the Intra squad games won’t be open to the public.
