Report day for minor league Spring Training Camp. Seventh Grapefruit League game of the season.


Grapefruit League Game Seven - Tigers 1 Phillies 0 (Lakeland)


Summary :


Two walks and a single by Gleybar Torres scored the only run in the game for the Tigers in the third inning.


At the Plate : 0 R, 1 H, 3 BB, 12 K’s


Johan Rojas got the only Phillies hit in the game - a line drive single to right field in the sixth inning.


Pitching Notes : 1 R, 5 H, 3 BB, 9 K’s


RH Aaron Nola - 2 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 2 K’s - 20 pitches - 14 strikes - only faced six batters - rolled a 5-4-3 double play to erase the single he gave up in first inning.


RH Tyler Phillips - 2 IP, 1 R, 1 H, 2 BB, 3 K’s - 40 pitches - 24 strikes - FB 93-95 mph


RH Kyle Tyler - 2 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 1 BB, 2 K’s - 30 pitches - 19 strikes - cutter was primary (14 pitches) - 91-94 mph


LH Nick Vespi - 1 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 1 K - 12 pitches - 9 strikes


RH Devin Sweet - 1 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 1 K - 13 pitches - 7 strikes


Minor League Camp Call-Ups for the game :


Pitchers : Jonah Dipoto, Enmanuel Mejia, Mitch Neunborn, Josh Hejka

Infielders : Trent Farquhar, Keaton Anthony, Aroon Escobar
