If coming to the complex to see spring training activity at the complex tomorrow ( 3/11/23 ) here’s what to expect :
Major League Camp :
There is a 1 PM away game against the Yankees in Tampa - players not making the trip will likely practice on the BayCare Ballpark stadium field in the morning hours.
Minor League Camp :
The complex opens at 9 AM - gates to watch practice are generally open on all fields however if the gate to an area is closed please ask a security official before proceeding beyond the closed gate. Under no circumstances can you proceed past a gate that is marked with a sign stating authorized Phillies personnel only.
Players are divided into four workout groups - select groups will rotate thru practice as follows :
9:30 to 11 - Position Players fielding practice on Schmidt, Carlton & Roberts Fields
9:30 to 10:30 - Select pitchers will throw side bullpens on the seven mounds in front of the Montgomery Building
10:40 to approximately Noon - Simulated Game on Roberts Field - 4 1/2 innings
11 to 11:45 - Live Bullpen sessions on Ashburn & Carlton Fields
