My plan was to watch the scrimmage on Ashburn Field from the stadium overlooking the left field fence of Ashburn however my perch was directly in the sun and on the turf of the playground area so I bagged that plan quickly 🥵 - didn’t get to watch any of the scrimmages unfortunately but I can at the least share which pitchers threw.

The Phillies plated four runs in the second inning - JT Realmuto singled and advanced to second on a ground out, he scored on a single by Edmundo Sosa. Christian Pache singled and Weston Wilson singled to score Sosa. Pache scored on a fielders choice. Whit Merrifield doubled to score Wilson.
David Dahl doubled in the fourth inning, he scored on a double by Kyle Schwarber. Brandon Marsh pinch ran for Schwarber and scored on a single by Whit Merrifield.
Jamie Westbrook homered for the Red Sox in the seventh inning.
At the Plate : 6 R, 10 H, 3 BB, 9 K’s
Whit Merrifield was 2 for 3 (singles,double) with two RBIs. David Dahl went 2 for 3 (singles,double) with an RBI. Kyle Schwarber doubled.
