Grapefruit League & Exhibition Game Twenty-One @ Tampa vs Yankees
Phillies 6 Yankees 4
Summary :
The Phillies scored three runs in the third inning on a double by Rene Pinto, a single by Christian Cairo and an RBI single by Justin Crawford. Cairo and Crawford executed a double steal, Cairo scored on a throwing error by Yankees pitcher Max Fried. Dylan Moore singled to score a run.
A triple and single scored a Yankees run in the 4th inning. They scored twice in the seventh on a double and two singles.
Justin Crawford reached on an error and Edmundo Sosa singled in the 8th - Crawford later scored on a ground out.
Braden Shewmake homered for the Yankees in the bottom of the eighth.
Pedro Leon was hit by a pitch in the ninth, he scored on a towering home run by Felix Reyes.
At the Plate : 6 R, 7 H, 1 BB, 9 K’s
Edmundo Sosa was 2 for 4 (singles), Rene Pinto doubled, Felix Reyes hit a two run home run. Justin Crawford singled and reached on an error, he scored twice and had an RBI along with a stolen base.

Tyler Bowen impressed - lively fastball with tons of movement. Shortstop Romeli Espinosa continues to have a strong camp - the seventeen year old doubled in today’s scrimmage, he’s also displayed a very strong throwing arm.
