If coming to the complex to see spring training activity at the complex tomorrow ( 3/16/23 ) here’s what to expect :
Major League Camp :
There is a 1 PM away game against the Tigers in Lakeland - Phillies players not participating in the game will likely practice during within the stadium.
Minor League Camp :
The complex gates open at 9 AM to watch practice and are generally open to view all fields from the bleacher areas however if the gate to an area is closed please ask a security official before proceeding beyond the closed gate. Under no circumstances can you proceed past a gate that is marked with a sign stating authorized Phillies personnel only.
Players are divided into separate workout groups - select groups will rotate thru scheduled on field baseball practice as follows :
11 to 12:30 - Pitchers & Position players defensive drills on Roberts & Carlton fields
11:50 to 12:20 - Side bullpen sessions on the seven mounds ( 6 pitchers )
12 to 1 - Batting Practice on Roberts, Ashburn, Carlton & Schmidt fields
1:45 to approx approx 2:30 - two three inning simulated game on Ashburn & Roberts Field ( 12 pitchers )
