If coming to see spring training activity at the complex tomorrow ( 3/18/23 ) here’s what to expect :
Major League Camp :
There is a 6 PM away game against the Braves in North Port - Phillies players not participating in the game will likely practice within the stadium. Rain is forecast for the afternoon hours.
Minor League Camp :
The complex gates to watch practice are generally open to view all fields from the bleacher areas however if the gate to an area is closed please ask a security official before proceeding beyond the closed gate. Under no circumstances can you proceed past a gate that is marked with a sign stating authorized Phillies personnel only.
Players are divided into separate workout groups - select groups will rotate thru scheduled on field baseball practice as follows :
9:30 to 10 - Side bullpen sessions on the seven mounds ( 7 pitchers )
10:15 to 10:45 - Live Bullpen sessions on Carlton Field ( 3 pitchers )
10:15 to approx approx 11:45 - two simulated game on Ashburn & Roberts Field ( 16 pitchers )
