Connor Brogdon ( FB 94-96 ) went 2/3 of an inning striking out one batter. He struggled with control and walked three batters ( loading the bases ). 29 pitches - 15 strikes.

Zach Warren ( FB 92-93 ) struck out the only batter he faced to close out the fifth inning and get out of an inherited bases loaded jam.

Hector Neris ( FB 92-93 ) allowed one hit in a scoreless sixth inning.

Jose Alvarado ( FB 98-101 ) struck out the side in the seventh inning after a bloop double led off the frame. 🔥

Archie Bradley ( FB 93-95 ) allowed one hit and struck out one in a shutout frame, he touched 95 on the heater, his highest velocity reading of the spring.

Michael Ynoa ( FB 92-94 ) yielded a run on a hit ( HR ) and a walk while striking out one.

At The Plate :

Darick Hall scalded a line drive to left field that was caught on the track in the sixth inning, a very strong wind blowing in knocked it down. The skipper noticed and fist bumped Darick in the dugout 👍. He intentionally bunted down the third base line to lead off the ninth inning to beat the shift 😀.

Doubles : Bryce Harper, Jeff Mathis

Defensive Gems :

Matt Moore picked off Bo Bichette at second base in the third inning as shortstop Didi Gregorius snuck behind him to take the throw and make the tag 😎

Phil-Ins :

Mini Camp players on the roster today included pitchers Tyler Carr, Jakob Hernandez and David Paulino, Catchers Edgar Cabral and Logan O’Hoppe, Infielders Luis Garcia, Darick Hall, Luke Williams and Bryson Stott and Outfielders Matt Vierling and Johan Rojas.

Grapefruit League record is now 9-9-1
