Pitchers : Side bullpens (seven mounds) - Kleyderve Andrade, Naoel Mejia, Michael Mercado, Micah Ottenbreit, Kevin Warunek, Jaydenn Estanista, Angel Liranzo, Eligio Arias, Raymon Rosario, Danyony Pulido, Kyle Brnovich, Chuck King
Pitchers not throwing BP’s or in the games - PFP’s on Roberts and Schmidt fields.
Position Players : fielding practice and BP on Carlton/Roberts.
Three 1 PM Practice Games vs Tigers - two at Clearwater, one @ Lakeland - I will post details tomorrow.
Watched portions of the games on Roberts and Ashburn Fields - RHP Orion Kerkering started the game on Roberts Field and pitched a perfect inning - two ground outs and a strikeout - ten pitches - eight strikes. Lefty Mavis Graves was sharp in his two innings of work following Kerkering allowing no runs and ending it with a swing and miss punch out.
On Ashburn Field Nate Humphreys and Tyler Pettorini each hit triples. Teenage hurlers Matthew Fisher (two innings - put away curve ball and lots of movement on his pitches) and Anderson Navas (one inning- electric fastball) impressed on the hill.
