He was the first round draft selection of the Detroit Tigers in the 2015 draft from Weatherford High School in Texas and has pitched in the Tigers, Twins, Dodgers and Braves organizations. Once a high velocity hurler he now features a four seamer (93-94 mph), slider, change up and curve. He has pitched in eleven major league games (2020-2021) with the Tigers and Twins and 190 minor league games (135 starts). Last season he pitched at both the AA and AAA levels in the Braves organization.
The 27 year old Burrows signed with the Minnesota Twins on 1/31/24 as a minor league free agent and was released on 3/21/24.
Beau has begun his Phillies tenure in Clearwater in what remains of Spring Camp before a determination is made on an assignment.
