Pitchers : 16

LH Adam Seminaris - 27 years old - signed as minor league free agent 11/18/25 -

Pitched for the Arkansas Travelers at the AA level last season in the Seattle Mariners organization. He posted a 3.02 ERA in 24 appearances (22 starts) with a 7-7 record in 125.1 IP. In his minor league career he has posted a 4.41 ERA in 109 appearances (87 starts) in 447 IP. He was the 2020 fifth round draft selection of the Los Angeles Angels from Long Beach State University. Was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers on 11/23/22 as part of a three player package to acquire outfielder Hunter Renfroe. The Brewers released him on 10/8/24 and he signed a one year free agent deal with the Mariners on 1/29/25. He’s from Chino Hills, California and graduated from Ayala HS - at Long Beach State he recorded a 3.58 ERA in 40 appearances (27 starts) in 173.2 IP. He’s a cross fire delivery pitcher who throws strikes - comes from a high three quarter arm slot. Has a four pitch mix - fastball will sit low nineties touching 93-94 mph with a curve, slider and changeup. Uses a deceptive delivery, a plus changeup and the ability to control/command the zone by pounding strikes as his repertoire. He reached the AAA level in 2022 and 2023 but pitched exclusively at the AA level in 2024 and 2025. Stretched out as a starter in spring training camp.

RH Luke Russo - 25 years old - drafted in 16th round of the 2023 draft from Eastern Michigan University - We first met Luke at Carpenter Complex shortly after he signed. He’s a big fella at 6’4” - strong build - he will use a full mix of pitches and often pitch “backwards” leading with his slider followed by a sinker and change up, also has a four seamer (90-94 mph) and curve ball. Began the 2025 season as a bulk reliever with Jersey Shore and pitched very well earning a bump up to Reading where he returned to a starting role before being sidelined by injury. He’s from Howell, Michigan and graduated from Howell High School before attending Eastern Michigan. In high school he tore his UCL in his senior year however recovered to be a cog on the Eastern Michigan staff - he was in the process of  transferring to the University of North Carolina before being selected by the Phillies in the draft. Has had a very solid spring training camp.

RH Braydon Tucker - 26 years old - signed un-drafted free agent 7/19/23 - Lipscomb University - is from Brazil, Indiana and graduated from Northview High School. Originally attended Indiana University before transferring to Lipscomb. A very solid pitcher who eats innings and just gets batters out - has a 66% strike throwing rate in his minor league career. Brayden has pitched both as a starter and bulk reliever - in 17 of his 23 appearances went four or more innings - in 13 of his 16 starts went five innings or more - in nine of those he went beyond five innings. Throws from a three quarter arm slot and his sinker generally sits 90-95 mph, also has a split finger change up, cutter and slider. Gets after it, competes, throws strikes with strong command/control and hides the ball well with his delivery. He competes and seemingly always keeps his team in the game with a chance to win, he’s an under the radar fella who to me has the tools, makeup and moxie to continue to push his way up the ladder.

RH Kyle Brnovich - 28 years old - signed as a minor league free agent 12/12/25 - played last season for the Baltimore Orioles organization making 15 appearances (14 starts) for AAA level Norfolk. He posted a 6.34 ERA in 61 IP and was released on 8/7 - then signed by the Colorado Rockies on 8/12 finishing the season with their AAA affiliate in Albuquerque making 7 appearances (4 starts). In October he declared free agency. Kyle has an career 4.82 ERA in 75 minor league games (57 starts) over 287.1 IP. Brnovich was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 8th round of the 2019 draft from Elon University and was traded to the Orioles that December, never pitched in a game for the Angels organization. He’s noted for often pitching backwards with a knuckle-curve as his primary, his fastball sits in the 93-94 mph range and has touched 96 mph. He also has a slider and curve.

RH Chuck King - 28 years old - signed as un-drafted free agent 2/6/24 - Texas Christian University - the 6’6” right hander pitched collegiately at Texas Christian University from 2017 to 2021 - 22 of his 78 appearances were starts. After his time at TCU ended he became a Sports Science Intern with the San Diego Padres and then moved into a full time role in the organization in November of 2022 as a Performance Analyst. However, he continued to train as a pitcher after his collegiate career ended and on 1/28/24 performed for scouts in a pro day at Driveline Baseball. On 2/2/24 he signed a minor league contract with the Phillies. This past season he returned to starting pitching and was an innings eater by today’s standards going five or more frames in 17 of his 23 starts. He features a mid nineties four seam fastball that touches higher and a sinker (93-95 mph) - secondaries include a slider, change up, curve and cutter. He competes, will generally throw strikes and often forces soft contact from hitters. Isn’t a big strikeout pitcher but will get his fair share. The conversion to a starter’s role was seamless - pitched in relief in 2024 - big strong frame who also uses his baseball intellect to zone up his opponents. Had a strong spring camp with the exception of one outing.

RH Andrew Baker - 26 years old - 2021 11th round draft choice - Chipola Junior College - Florida - it’s never been a question of whether the stuff can play at the highest level because it can but rather can Andrew consistently show both command and control in his outings. After spending the majority of 2024 with Reading the focus was to build such consistency this past summer predominately at lower level Jersey Shore. After a rocky start to the year the latter months showed promise. His four seam fastball sits in the 94-98 mph range with a put-away slider and curve as secondaries along with a cutter. He pitched very well in Puerto Rico Winter League for the league championship squad. There are times I’ve watched Andrew pitch and can see major league talent - he’s a converted catcher and his primary experience as a pitcher has been as a professional. He’s persevered thru multiple struggles thru his career - am hopeful that consistency is found and he reaches his vast potential.

LH Tristan Garnett - 28 years old - signed as a free agent 7/20/21 - Cal State Dominguez Hills, CA - straight over the top unique delivery from a 6’6” frame presents the baseball to the hitter as if it’s right on top of them with his extended release point. Has an outstanding change-up which is his predominant pitch - fastball sits in the 91 to 93 mph range - change up has a solid differential from same arm slot and arm speed - very effective pitch (swing and miss delivery). Also throws a slider and cutter. One of the nicest young men we’ve met and is highly respected by teammates and coaches/staff in the organization. The changeup is big league caliber.

RH Saul Teran - 24 years old - signed international free agent 2/2/21 - Caracas, Venezuela - features a slider, four seam fastball (sits 92 to 96 mph) and also throws a sinker. Was named the organization’s Pitcher of the Month for May last summer when he posted a 1.64 ERA in 11 IP over eight appearances. He is a very athletic pitcher who has really good stuff - slider is a swing and miss delivery with sharp break and action, perhaps the best slider in the player development group this year. Four seam fastball gets great ball movement. Has the potential to be a high impact inning reliever in the big leagues.

RH Alex McFarlane - 24 years old - drafted in 4th round of the 2022 draft from University of Miami - big arm now full time reliever - fastball reached triple digits and sits upper nineties, splitter and slider as secondaries - was an NRI for first time this spring in big league camp - I asked him what his takeaways from the experience were - “ It was a great overall experience getting to be around the big league guys. Taking it for what it was and competing against the best was a honor. I learned how disciplined the guys are with their routines and watched how they handled failure bouncing back from bad outings. It was an amazing opportunity and it would be great to be back over there again, but sticking to each outing and being better each day is my main focus this season.” Alex was named the Bill Giles Award winner for this year’s spring training camp.

RH Daniel Harper - 26 years old - drafted in 17th round of the 2022 draft from the University of Kentucky - was named to the Phillies 2025 Arizona Fall League contingent and played for the Surprise Saguaros. Daniel’s fastball ranges from 92 to 95 mph - it has touched 98. He was a FB/Cutter closer at Kentucky, as a pro he’s incorporated a couple more pitches including a slider (gyro type) and sinker (split finger action). When he’s on the stuff is major league quality.

RH Jack Dallas - 27 years old - signed as an non drafted free agent 8/1/22 - Lamar University - a great competitor who will take the ball in any situation and will generally deliver quality work. Was a closer in college. Jack has always been a bullpen stabilizer throughout his Phillies career who goes multiple innings. He features a fastball (92-95 mph),sinker, slider, cutter, change-up and curve. Gets big league level spin on his curve and cutter. He reminds me a great deal of Mark Leiter Jr in build, moxie and approach. His brother Chad is a pitching prospect in the Blue Jays organization. Jack was chosen to pitch this Fall in the Arizona Fall League. Smart, throws strikes, competes, has quality pitches - all great skills to have - just sayin.

RH Evan Gates - 28 years old - selected in the 2025 minor league Rule Five draft from the Giants - San Francisco Giants signed him as an un-drafted free agent - 7/23/21 - North Carolina AT&T. Pitched at the AA level in 2025 - 41 appearances - 3.23 ERA - 69.2 IP - “effective because of how he mixes his arsenal and attacks hitters. His low-90s fastball has solid carry up in the zone while his cutter has just enough cutting action to achieve horizontal separation. His low-80s knuckle curve is his best pitch with a sharp break, exceptional velocity, and no pop out of the hand, giving it plenty of deception.”

RH Colin Peluse - 27 years old - signed as a minor league free agent 11/17/25 - was the A’s ninth round draft choice in the 2019 draft from Wake Forest University. Last season at AA level Midland in the Texas League he appeared in 47 games (58 IP) posting a 2.64 ERA with 8 holds. He pitched at the AAA level in 2024 after posting a 2.05 ERA in 28 appearances (52.2 IP) at Midland. He’s pitched at the AA and AAA levels since 2022. Peluse features a fastball (92-95 mph) that has reached 98 along with a slider and change-up. He’s a big sturdy fella at 6’3” and has been a strike thrower especially since converting to a reliever in 2023. In his 175 minor league appearances he’s made 52 starts (45 from 2019 to 2022). Colin is from Middletown, Delaware and graduated from Middletown HS. In three seasons at Wake Forest he made 51 appearances (36 starts) and posted a 4.54 ERA in 204.1 IP.

RH Levi Stoudt - 28 years old - signed as a minor league free agent 12/17/25 - was originally drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 3rd round of the 2019 draft from Lehigh University. He had TJ surgery in 2019 and didn’t pitch in a game till 2021. Is from Pennsburg, PA and graduated from the Perkiomen School where he was part of four league championship teams. Stoudt was traded to the Reds on 7/30/22 in the Luis Castillo trade. He was in the Reds organization till 2/17/24 when the Mariners re-claimed him off waivers - the Orioles claimed him off waivers on 6/13/24 and he was with their organization till being released on 8/4/25. Stoudt has pitched in four major league games (two starts) - all in 2023 with the Reds - he threw 10.1 innings.  Last season he pitched primarily at Norfolk (Orioles AAA affiliate) where he appeared in 18 games posting a 6.93 ERA. In his minor league career he’s pitched in 120 games (70 starts) totaling 389.1 IP with a 5.06 ERA. His fastball sits mid nineties but frequently has touched 98-99 mph which he couples with a quality change up (splitter) - also throws a slider and curveball.

LH Christian Tortosa - 27 years old - signed as free agent 5/15/25 - 2025 Stats :  made 27 appearances for Jersey Shore (34.1 IP) recording a 3.93 ERA - opponents hit just .187 against him. Promoted to Reading on 9/11 - appeared in two games (2.2 IP) with four K’s and a walk. After struggling in May and June had a decent month of July (3.68 ERA in 6 appearances - 7.1 IP) followed by a very strong August (1.46 ERA in 8 games - 12.1 IP) and a decent September (3.86 ERA in 4 appearances). Was originally signed by the Detroit Tigers on 7/6/15 - he pitched in their organization till 11/6/23 when he declared minor league free agency. He did not pitch during the summer of 2024 but returned to pitch in the Puerto Rico Winter League for the 2024-2025 season. Was pitching for the Schaumburg Boomers in the Frontier League this past summer (two games - 3 IP, 0.00 ERA) when he signed a two year minor league contract with the Phillies on 5/15. Has big arm capabilities - a four seam fastball in the 93-98 mph range, slider, change up and cutter. He pitched for the Cardenales de Lara in the Venezuelan Winter League.

RH Lenny Torres - 25 years old - signed as minor league free agent 12/15/25 -

was the 2018 round CB-A draft selection (#41 overall) by the Cleveland Guardians from Beacon HS in Beacon, New York and was committed to attend St. John’s University before signing with Cleveland for a reported $1.35 million. After spending the initial years of his career with the Guardians organization he became a free agent in November of 2024 and signed with the Cincinnati Reds. He pitched last season primarily at the AAA level for Louisville (Reds affiliate) where he posted a 6.34 ERA in 43 appearances (44 IP). Lenny has been a reliever throughout most of his minor league career - in 2024 he had a strong season for Akron (Guardians AA affiliate) posting a 2.26 ERA in 41 appearances (51.2 IP). He’s made 165 minor league appearances (28 starts) with a 4.97 ERA in 257.1 IP. Scouting notes on him indicate a fastball than sits 95-96 mph but runs up to 98 mph. His offsets are a slider and  changeup. Torres missed the 2019 season due to Tommy John surgery. He pitched this winter for the Leones de Ponce in the Puerto Rico Winter League as he also did in 2023 - command/control needs to be harnessed but big arms are always intriguing.

Catchers : 3

Jordan Dissin - 23 years old - drafted in 12th round of the 2022 draft from Saddleback JC, CA - spent the majority of last season with Jersey Shore - 48 games - 178 plate appearances. Played in ten games with Reading - 37 plate appearances. Spent time on the IL during the season - missed a couple weeks in May. He is from Malvern, PA and graduated from Malvern Prep HS. Originally attended the University of Richmond before transferring to Saddleback after one season. He’s a strong defensive catcher with a very good throwing arm and technique, quick pop times. Has pop, works counts as a hitter, will take his walks - career .340 OBP - swing can get long like many hitters with power - plays with good energy and is well respected.

Lou Albrecht - 24 years old - signed as un-drafted free agent 7/21/23 - Central Arizona Junior College - last season served as the third catcher at multiple locations during the year - began the year with Clearwater, transferred to Lehigh Valley on 4/17 - placed on the IL with a hamate bone fracture on his left hand in mid April - rehab assignment with the FCL Phillies on 6/26 - Finished the season with Reading. Lou is one of the most respectful and energetic young men in the organization, truly a team player. Has not seen a lot of game action - played for the Adelaide Giants in the 2024/2025 winter off season - .263/.333/.355 slash line in 84 PA’s. He’s from Benton, Washington and graduated from Kentridge High School. He played two seasons at Washington State University before transferring to Central Arizona - was slated to transfer to the University of Washington but signed with the Phillies instead.

Kehden Hettiger - 21 years old - drafted 11th round -2023 draft from Sierra Canyon HS, Chatsworth, CA - LH hitter - began 2025 with Clearwater - 8 games - 32 plate appearances - was transferred to Jersey Shore on 4/16 - played in 85 games - 355 plate appearances - .232/.330/.389 slash line with a .719 OPS - promoted to Reading 9/2 - played in 7 games - 26 plate appearances - for the season had a career high 413 plate appearances - 21 doubles, 9 home runs and 55 RBIs. He caught in 61 games and played first base in 30 - threw out 32 of 117 base stealers (27%). Kehden made great strides this past season - he was relatively inexperienced as a catcher when he signed with the Phillies but he’s worked hard and has come a long way in throwing, set up, receiving and game calling. Offensively he scrapped being a switch hitter and instead focused on being a full time left handed hitter where he’s displayed pull side power. Advancing to Reading at year end was a big accomplishment- had a very solid first big league camp this spring as a non-roster invitee.

Infielders : 5

Aroon Escobar - 21 years old - signed as an international free agent - 1/15/22 - Caracas, Venezuela - plays primarily second base but will see time at third base this year as well  - makes great turns at second on double plays, strong accurate arm, quick exchange - good range as well. Began last year with Clearwater. Promoted to Jersey Shore on 7/8. Promoted to Reading on 9/8. Overall 2025 season numbers - 120 games - 538 plate appearances - .270/.361/.413 slash line, .774 OPS - 13 doubles, 4 triples, 15 home runs, 62 RBIs, 56 walks, 98 strikeouts, 24 stolen bases. 2025 was a breakout season - strong stocky build - ball jumps off his bat, quick hands, powerful swing - hits the ball hard, patient hitter who will take his walks, when he hits it can drive the ball out of any park. We first met him a few years back, initially saw him play in person in 2024 on the backfields of the FCL where he performed very well before being sidelined by shin splints. Has all the tools along with the passion and desire to reach the majors as a lineup regular - loves the game and playing it - shines thru - infectious smile. Has fun playing - has his own version of the Soto Shuffle!

Carson DeMartini - 23 years old - drafted in 4th round of the 2024 draft from Virginia Tech - LH hitter - RH thrower - began last year with Jersey Shore - Promoted to Reading on 6/9 - Overall numbers - 119 games - 521 plate appearances - .237/.340/.367 slash line with a .707 OPS - 20 doubles, 4 triples, 10 home runs, 52 RBIs, 59 walks, 139 strikeouts and 45 stolen bases.  Defensively played 89 games at third base (.918 fielding percentage) and 25 games at shortstop (.918 fielding percentage). He’s from Virginia Beach, Virginia and graduated from Ocean Lakes HS. He played club ball with the Tidewater Orioles. Has a compact and powerful swing - has shown he can drive the ball to all fields. Defensively has shown a strong arm - he’s a hard worker who has steadily improved over the course of his time as a pro - will see time at both second and third base this year. After arriving in Reading battled an injury before being placed on the IL 9/5. Was slated to play in the Arizona Fall League but had a wrist issue and the assignment was recalled, is now all the way back to action. Has a big league skillset and profile.

Bryan Rincon - 22 years old - drafted in 14th round of the 2022 draft from Shaler Area HS, Pittsburgh, PA - Scouts rank Bryan highly for his defensive prowess at shortstop and for good reason, he has all the attributes of a superior fielder. It’s the offense that’s lagged behind - last season a hamstring injury held him to just thirty-five games and this year a hamate bone injury ended his season early. He was slated to continue rehab work at the complex but was chosen to replace Aidan Miller in the AFL instead. Bryan hit multiple balls hard in the AFL but the offensive numbers weren’t good. He loves baseball - is from Venezuela but left home at the age of 16 to move in with his Uncle in Pittsburgh in order to play high school baseball in the United States. He had committed to play for San Jacinto Junior College but instead signed with the Phillies. I first saw him play in the FCL - noted the power from the left side of the plate and of course the defense. He’s still a very young player, a very hard worker and a good young man - always says hello when I see him - hopefully it all clicks for him this spring along with an injury free season and he shows out all around. There’s never been a doubt about his defensive skills at shortstop - he’s big league ready in that regard. Over the years we’ve watched him play Bryan has always shown occasions of power, especially from the left side (he switch hits). This spring in big league camp he displayed that power with two doubles, a triple and home run. He had an excellent Spring Training Camp.

Alex Binelas - 25 years old - signed as minor league free agent 5/26/25 - LH hitter- RH thrower - played in 68 games - 269 plate appearances with Reading last season posting a .265/.372/.425 slash line with a .797 OPS with 10 doubles, 8 home runs and 37 RBIs - had previously played in 13 games (41 plate appearances) with Worcester (Red Sox AAA affiliate) with a .257/.366/.457 slash line and .823 OPS with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs before being released on 5/23. Has played in parts of four seasons (2022-2025) in the AA level Eastern League with Portland and Reading. Defensively played in 48 games at first base for Reading and 15 at third base. He’s from Oak Creek, Wisconsin and graduated from Oak Creek HS. Signed a two year contract with the Phillies after being released by the Red Sox. Was drafted by the Brewers in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft from the University of Louisville and traded to the Red Sox on 12/1/21 as part of a three player trade for Hunter Renfroe. Provided a veteran presence for Reading after joining the Phillies organization while still being a relatively young player himself. Good all-around skillset - is a baseball player. Has a patient approach as a hitter, will take his walks. When he makes contact hits the ball hard - high exit velocities and can drive the ball to all fields.

Bryson Ware - 25 years old - drafted in 8th round of the 2023 draft from Auburn University - played in 72 games - 281 plate appearances last season with Jersey Shore. Promoted to Reading 8/5 - Overall posted a .242/.325/.404 slash line and a.729 OPS in 368 plate appearances - 17 doubles, 11 home runs, 38 RBIs, 34 walks, 110 strikeouts and 7 stolen bases. Defensively played at six positions - 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, RF and LF. He is from Madison, Mississippi and graduated from Germantown HS. Played one year at Pearl River Community College before transferring to Auburn where he played three years . He is a hard nosed, smart ball player, not a standout defender however his athleticism and intuition allows him to get the job done at each spot he’s played. He’s shown the willingness to step up to any challenge put before him, as a hitter will always be in each AB, battles, quick hands, ability to read and adjust to pitches - he’s a baseball player who does a lot of things well, the kind of player that winning teams have. Is a solid hitter, in my opinion the higher the level the better his numbers will be simply because he will see more strikes to hit.

Outfielders : 4

Dylan Campbell - 23 years old - acquired in trade with Dodgers - 1/17/25 - was the Dodgers round 4C selection in the 2023 draft from the University of Texas - he had an outstanding season in the 2025 Arizona Fall League adding first and third base to his defensive repertoire - can play six defensive positions well - 1B,2B,3B,LF,CF,RF - is a solid line drive hitter who also has good speed - stole 33 bases last season. Is from Houston, Texas and graduated from Strake Jesuit HS - played varsity shortstop all four years of high school and also starred in football. Enrolled and played three seasons at the University of Texas. Was then drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Traded to the Phillies in exchange for International Pool allocations. He’s an excellent defensive outfielder with a plus arm whose ability to track the ball shines thru - saw that in a couple games in Reading last season when he played center field.

Austin Murr - 27 years old - selected in 2025 Minor League Rule Five draft - was Detroit’s 2021 6th round draft selection - North Carolina State -played primarily at the High A level in 2025 - made 309 plate appearances - 15 doubles, 4 triples, 7 home runs, 43 RBIs - .280/.386/.451 slash line and .837 OPS - played 35 games in LF and 32 games in RF along with 8 at first base. “versatile, athletic, left-handed hitting utility player known for strong on-base skills, good bat-to-ball ability, and excellent defense, earning him an ABCA Gold Glove in college.”

Raylin Heredia - 22 years old - signed as an international free agent - 2/2/21 - Santo Domingo, DR - had an strong spring training camp after playing for the Adelaide Giants championship team in the Australian Baseball League this off season - is driving the ball with authority producing multiple doubles in minor league spring training games. The past two summers have included a good bit of lost time spent on the IL and in recovery mode at the complex - when he’s on the field has shown a strong arm, power, decent wheels, bat speed and a passion to play.  He’s a right fielder with a chance to develop into a power bat run producer - plays with confidence and enthusiasm. When we first saw him play in the FCL (2023) he dominated (.326/.415/.532 in 164 PA’s) and that ability still comes thru during good runs. He will need to adjust as pitchers adjust to him, can square up any velocity of heat.

Happy Day, Happy Baseball ⚾️
