Did Ya Know 🧐 :

“LAST TIME OUT: The good news is the 'Pigs plated a season-high 10 runs on Tuesday. The bad news is Durham scored four touchdowns, trouncing the IronPigs 28-10.  Durham set franchise marks for an opponent against Lehigh Valley - runs (28), hits (26), hits in an inning (10), most consecutive hits (8), doubled, tied (8), homers (7), most runs in an inning (11), margin of defeat, tied (18).  Most of the records came crashing down in an 11-run ninth against position players Esteban Quiroz and Cal Stevenson on the mound.  Other records set included combined game totals - runs, tied (38), runs in an inning, tied (13), hits in an inning (13).” - Sam Jellinek - Manager, Broadcasting & Media Relations - Lehigh Valley IronPigs

Bryce Ball doubled in the fifth inning to score William Simoneit (reached on fielders choice). Robert Moore walked and Jose Rodriquez singled to score Ball.  Marcus Lee Sang walked to load the bases.  A wild pitch allowed both Moore and Rodriquez to score - Rodriquez scored from second base - in the little I’ve watched him he’s a very smart player - pays attention, has wheels and makes the right play.

Gabriel Rincones Jr doubled in the eighth inning, stole third and scored on a single by Carson Taylor.

On The Hill :  1 R, 5 H, 5 BB, 7 K’s

Lachlan Wells was good - 5 IP, 1 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 1 K.  Zach Haake went two scoreless frames - 2 H, 1 BB, 3 K’s.  Tristan Garnett pitched a scoreless 8th inning - 0 H, 1 BB, 2 K’s.  Tommy McCollum closed it with a scoreless ninth inning - 1 H, 1 BB, 1 K.

Today at the Complex :

There was an intra-squad game however I was unable to get to the complex today.  My wife and I took our daughter to lunch to celebrate her birthday 🎂🤓. The game was a four inning event with Wilmer Blanco, Maxwell Hernandez, Danyony Pulido and Adilson Peralta as the hurlers getting in their work.

System Transactions :

Lehigh Valley : LHP David Parkinson (#47) reinstated from the Development List.

Happy Day, Happy Baseball ⚾️
