Game Summary : Phillies 7 Braves 6
Ozzie Albies hit a two run home run for Atlanta in the first inning. Travis d’Arnaud doubled and scored on a single by Dansby Swanson.
JT Realmuto doubled in the second inning, stole third base and then scored on a sacrifice fly by Jean Segura.
Rhys Hoskins hit a solo home run in the fourth inning. Didi Gregorius hit a three run home run scoring Alec Bohm and Jean Segura ( both had singled ) in front of him.
Cristian Pache doubled in the bottom of the fourth inning, went to third on a sacrifice bunt and scored on a sacrifice fly by Ronald Acuna Jr.
Freddie Freeman led off the bottom of the fifth inning with a home run for the Braves.
Bryce Harper hit a home run to lead off the sixth inning.
Ronald Acuna Jr led off the bottom of the seventh inning with a home run for Atlanta.
Alec Bohm doubled in the ninth inning, went to third on a groundout and scored on a sac fly by Didi Gregorius. It was a bang-bang play at the plate on a shallow fly ball to left field where it appeared that Alec never touched the plate on his slide but he was called safe and the replay review upheld the call.
On The Hill :
Matt Moore ( FB 90-93 ) went five innings - 5 R, 9 H, 0 BB, 5 K’s - 80 pitches - 58 strikes. He battled this evening.
Connor Brogdon ( FB 96-97 ) pitched a perfect sixth inning with one strikeout.
Sam Coonrad ( FB 97-99 ) gave up a solo home run in the seventh inning ... his only hit allowed.
Jose Alvarado ( FB 98-101 ) tossed a scoreless eighth inning allowing just a walk.
Hector Neris ( FB 92 ) pitched a perfect ninth inning for the save.
At The Plate :
Alec Bohm had two hits ( single & double ).
