RH Jose Pena Jr - 1 perfect IP - 14 pitches - 8 strikes

RH Jake Eddington - 1 IP, 1 R, 1 H, 2 BB, 1 K - 26 pitches - 11 strikes

Notes :

Jaydenn Estanista showed a shorter arm swing and lower arm slot, he had previously thrown with a “long arm” release from behind his back and a higher angle - today the arm swing was a little beyond his body and arm slot/release was more three quarters -  stuff was crisp (has always been a big arm guy) firing in the 95-96 range and breaking pitches had bite - he struck out the side - hopefully it’s an adjustment that allows more movement and ability to command the zone. I wondered why he stayed back in extended spring, this appears to be the answer - good stuff!

Defensive Gem :

Center fielder John Spikerman made a diving catch on a sinking ball in left center field to end the seventh inning.
