Summary :
Jordan Qsar homered in the second inning, a very long one out of the stadium over the right field back fence.
Jhailyn Ortiz and Esteban Quiroz singled in the third inning, they both scored on a three run home run over the fence in the right field corner by the red hot Simon Muzziotti.
Jhailyn Ortiz homered to right field scoring Scott Kingery (singled) in front of him in the fourth inning.
The Iron Pigs loaded the bases in the 6th inning on a fielding error, walk and single. A run scored on a ground out. Dalton Guthrie singled to score a run. Simon Muzziotti singled to score a run. John Hicks singled to score a fourth run in the inning.
Xavier Edwards walked in the 6th inning for Jacksonville and scored on a triple by Joey Wendle (on rehab assignment from Marlins). Wendle later scored on a passed ball. After another walk Peyton Burdick hit a two run home run.
Esteban Quiroz walked in the 8th, advanced to second on a single by Simon Muzziotti and scored on a sac fly by John Hicks.
On the Hill :
A bullpen game for the Iron Pigs, Jake Jewell started and pitched a perfect frame. Jeremy Walker pitched two scoreless innings allowing just one hit. Jakob Hernandez allowed only a walk in his inning of work. Trey Cobb pitched 2/3 of an inning coming in and calming down a rally in the sixth. Erich Uelmen pitched a perfect seventh inning. Jeff Hoffman threw a perfect 8th inning with two strikeouts. Jesus Cruz closed it with a scoreless ninth inning.
At the Bat :
Simon Muzziotti went 4 for 5 (three singles & HR) and had four RBIs, he’s now hitting a sizzling .381 🔥. Jhailyn Ortiz was 3 for 4 (two singles & HR) with a walk. Esteban Quiroz had two singles as did John Hicks. Jordan Qsar homered.

Summary :
The Threshers scored three first inning runs - Ricardo Rosario singled, stole second and scored on a single by Justin Crawford. Crawford advanced to second on a balk and to third with a stolen base. Caleb Ricketts walked, Chad Castillo singled to score Crawford and send Ricketts to third base. Ricketts scored on a ground out by Emaarion Boyd.
Vincent Perozo doubled for St Lucie in the second inning and scored on a single by Adrian Hernandez.
Jordan Viars homered in the fourth inning.
Blaine McIntosh doubled to score Dyron Campos (walked) in the sixth inning.
Emaarion Boyd singled in the 6th inning, went to second when Jordan Viars was hit by a pitch, stole third and scored on a single by Otto Kemp.
The Threshers loaded the bases in the seventh in two walks and a hit batter, a balk was then called which scored a run. A wild pitch scored another run.
On the Hill :
Alex McFarlane started and went four innings yielding one run on three hits and four walks, he struck out five batters. Danny Wilkinson pitched two innings allowing one run on one hit and two walks, he struck out four hitters. Andrew Walling retired all five batters he faced, four by strikeout. Orion Kerkering just isn’t fair to his opponents - he retired all four batters (three by strikeout) he faced with a 98 to 99 mph fast ball and over 3,000 RPM slider, just nasty.
At the Bat :
Jordan Viars homered. Ricardo Rosario singled, walked three times and scored two runs from the lead off spot, he also stole two bases. Justin Crawford had two hits, a walk, scored twice and had a stolen base. Emaarion Boyd singled and walked and stole four bases giving him 13 swipes for the season.

Seven pitchers threw side bullpen sessions on the mounds in front of the Montgomery Training Center as well as on the pitching lab mound, pitchers who threw today -Jhordany Mezquita, Micah Ottenbreit, Daniel Mejia, Guisseppe Velasquez, Eric Garcia (lab), Jake McKenna (lab) and Malik Binns (lab).
Six pitchers threw live bullpen sessions - Zach Haake, Jon Duplantier, Nicoly Pina, Jace Vines, Oswald Medina and Ty Collins.
