Summary
Seven pitchers combined to blank SWB on 3 hit and 3 walks while striking out 13. SWB began the 9th inning against Connor Brogdon with a triple and a walk. The lanky righthander fanned the next two batters before getting a fly ball to end game. Bailey Falter, sent to AAA this week to stretch out as a starter, made his first start. John Anderoli’s RBI single in the top of the 8th was the game winner. Second run of the inning scored on an error. The winners also had just 3 hits, drew 9 walks but left 12 runners on base. Darick Hall who hit 3 homers in Friday’s doubleheader sweep was hitless. He walked twice, one intentionally.
