International League ( AAA ) - Lehigh Valley 8 (8-4) Rochester 2 (6-6)

Allentown, PA - Coca-Cola Park


How they scored :


A single, double and single scored a run for Rochester in the third inning.


Felix Reyes singled and Bryan De La Cruz walked in the fourth inning, Carter Kieboom doubled to score two runs. Liover Peguero singled to score Kieboom, Caleb Ricketts doubled to score Peguero.


Sergio Alcantara doubled in the fifth inning, he scored on a single by Bryan De La Cruz.


Liover Peguero doubled in the eighth inning, Caleb Ricketts doubled to score him, he  scored on a single by Oscar Mercado.


Three singles scored a run for Rochester in the ninth.


At Bat : 8 R, 11 H, 3 BB, 6 K’s


Sergio Alcantara and Liover Peguero each had two hits (single & double). Caleb Ricketts hit two doubles, Oscar Mercado had two hits (singles). Carter Kieboom doubled.

PHENOMENAL FELIX: Felix Reyes demolished his third homer of the year last night, a 111 MPH, 440 foot bomb. It's the fifth longestand hardest hit homer in the IL this season. A single, walk and two groundouts scored a run for Hartford in the first inning.


Alex Binelas homered in the fifth inning.


A two out double scored the placed runner for Hartford in the top of the tenth.


Austin Murr hit a two run walk off home run to right field in the bottom of the 10th to win it!

Bryan Rincon had two hits (singles) and a stolen base. Dante Nori doubled, Alex Binelas homered. Austin Murr hit a two run walk-off home run.

Adam Seminaris was solid all spring and that’s continued in the regular season - Andrew Baker was really good this evening - commanded the zone with his fastball, slider and cutter - excellent work.

Espresso Man Strikes Again - Phillies No. 7 Prospect Dante Nori, whose World Baseball Classic performance and Espresso Shots took notoriety recently, has had a strong start to the season for Reading. After missing the season opener at Akron last Thursday, Nori has rattled off a four-game hit streak to start the 2026 season. He went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs and a pair of RBI yesterday. The Phillies selected Nori in the first round (27th overall) of the 2024 draft out of Northville High School in Michigan. Devin Saltiban tripled in the first inning, he scored on a sacrifice fly by Joel Dragoo.


A single, walk, hit batter and ground out scored a run for Brooklyn in the fifth inning.


Placed runner Nick Biddison advanced to third base on a wild pitch in the 11th inning. Devin Saltiban scored him with a walk-off single!


At Bat : 2 R, 3 H, 5 BB, 18 K’s


Devin Saltiban had two hits (single & triple), Brock Vradenburg walked twice.

Devin Saltiban had three hits in the season opener on Friday (he had four three-hit games with the BlueClaws in 2025) returns to ShoreTown Ballpark where he spent the 2025 season.The #21 prospect in the system was a 3rd round pick of the Phillies from Hilo High School in Hawaii in the 2023 draft. The youngest player on the BlueClaws Opening Day roster in 2025, Saltiban is also the youngest player on the Opening Day roster in 2026, having just turned 21 on Valentine’s Day. Tampa scored a run in the fourth inning on a double and single. Jackson Lovich homered for them in the fifth inning.


Nolan Beltran singled in the fifth inning, he scored on a double by Jack Barker.

Gage Wood is fun to watch, he wears his emotions on his sleeve, the fastball jumps out of his hand and the knuckle curve/slider has an old school type break - his intensity is constant - hopefully he also finds time to relax when not playing baseball.
