Summary :
Simon Muzziotti walked in the first inning, went to third base on Jhailyn Ortiz’s single, Ortiz advanced to second on the outfielder’s throw to third. They both scored on a single by Aldrem Corredor. Logan ‘OHoppe & Vito Friscia drew walks to load the bases. Ali Castillo hit a sack fly to score Corredor. After Jonathan Guzman walked to re-load the bases - Freylin Minyety ripped a double down the left field line to clear em and plate three !
Bowie scored a run in the third inning on a double by Maverick Handley and RBI single by Dylan Harris.
A ground ball up the middle in the fourth inning hit off the ankle of pitcher Noah Skirrow - he exited the game thereafter with the trainer, didn’t look to be in a great deal of discomfort.
Bowie loaded the bases on walks with no outs in the 6th inning but could only score one on a sac fly as Billy Sullivan struck out two batters to get out of the jam.
On The Hill :
RH Noah Skirrow - 3 2/3 IP - 1 R, 4 H, 2 BB, 6 K’s - 71 pitches - 43 strikes - He touched 96 mph today - he’s been sitting consistently in the 93-95 mph range this season. That’s similar to where he was in college - last season with Jersey Shore was a bit below that. Noah also gets big break on both slider and curve ball - vertical movement.

RH Billy Sullivan - 1 IP, 1 R, 0 H, 3 BB, 2 K’s - 25 pitches - 13 strikes - 94-96 mph with the heater.

Reading came into today with a 4-2 record in day games this season. Jhailyn Ortiz has an 8 game on base streak going and Vito Friscia has an 11 game on base streak.
Ofreidy Gomez was just added to the Reading roster, he was pitching in extended spring training last week.
Former Phillies minor leaguer Tyler Burch pitched the bottom of the 8th for Bowie.
The Fightin’s have a four game winning streak and are 8-3 in their last 11 games.
