Summary :
Yhoswar Garcia doubled in the first inning, stole third base ( # 23 ) and scored on a single by Hao Yu Lee. The double was a result of Garcia’s speed as the ball was hit just slightly to the right of the left fielder, Yhoswar never broke stride out of the box and beat the throw to second base !
Fort Myers scored in the second on an RBI single by Luis Baez.
Anthony Quirion hit a ball beyond the back fence on the left field concourse for a solo homer in the bottom of the second inning.
Mikey Perez doubled to score Emmanuel Rodriquez ( walked ) in the third inning.
Clearwater plated three in the bottom of the third - Hao Yu Lee walked, Jadiel Sanchez singled to send Lee to third base. Kendall Simmons singled to score Lee. Anthony Quirion was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Micah Yonamine singled to score two runs.
Fort Myers scored in the 5th on an RBI single by Keoni Cavaco.
Clearwater scored five runs in the fifth inning - Kendall Simmons reached on an error, Anthony Quirion was hit by a pitch and Micah Yonamine walked. Erick Brito singled to score Simmons. Yhoswar Garcia doubled to score all two. A wild pitch hit off the home plate umpire - the Fort Myers fielders didn’t react - instead they were concerned with the umpire’s health - while that was going on both Brito and Garcia crossed the plate 😳.
Noah Miller hit a two run home run for Fort Myers in the seventh inning.

Summary :
Fort Myers scored twice in the fourth inning on a home run by Mikey Perez.
Wilfredo Flores hit a double in the bottom of the fifth that bounced over the fence else Jamari Baylor ( walked ) would have scored, he was called back and placed at third due to the ground rule.

The two teams are off tomorrow as the stadium is being used for a high school graduation - they resume play on Friday. It’s anticipated that Mickey Moniak will be in the Clearwater lineup as he begins a rehab assignment.
