How they scored :


Steward Berroa singled in the first inning, he went to third on a single by Felix Reyes. Carter Kieboom walked, Dylan Carlson walked to force in a run.


A walk, single, fielders choice, single, two errors and double play ground out scored three runs for SWB in the third inning. Ernesto Martinez Jr then hit a two run home run.


Carter Kieboom tripled in the bottom of the third and scored on a home run by Bryan De La Cruz.


Yanquiel Fernandez homered for SWB in the fourth. A triple and single scored a run in the fifth.


Steward Berroa singled in the bottom of the fifth inning, he scored on a home run by Felix Reyes.


Ali Sanchez homered for SWB in the seventh.


Paul McIntosh walked and Robert Moore doubled in the eighth inning. Christian Cairo singled to score them both. Cairo then stole second base giving him 15 stolen bases on the season.

Pitching Powers - The Fightin Phils pitching staff continued their recent strong stretch with another good week at New Hampshire and a strong start to the series with Portland on Tuesday night. Over 10 games before Wednesday night (May 8-19), Reading led the Eastern League with a 2.54 ERA (24 ER, 85.0 IP). On the season, the R-Phils team 4.40 ERA ranks third in the Eastern League, which comes after finishing last in the league with a 4.58 ERA in 2025.Reading’s pitching staff has also showcased some of the best control in the league as well, issueing the fewest walks in the league at 127, which is well ahead of the second fewest, Portland with 153.
