RHP Drake Fellows (28 years old) has signed a minor league contract with the Phillies and has been assigned to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. He had been assigned to pitch in the Mexican League for the Saraperos de Saltillo after being released by the Yankees organization on 3/22/26 but never appeared in a game.
Fellows was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 6th round of the 2019 draft from Vanderbilt. He was traded to the Pirates organization on 1/19/21 and signed by the Yankees as a free agent on 12/12/25 before being released in March. He’s appeared in 73 minor league games (39 starts) with 36 (19 starts) at the AAA level. Overall he’s posted a 5.00 ERA in 210.2 IP with 184 K’s and 104 walks. He’s 6’5” and uses his slider/sweeper as his primary and best offering along with a fastball that ranges from 90-95 mph and a changeup. He’s known for his versatility as being able to either start or pitch multiple innings in relief.
From a fan’s view welcome to the Phillies Drake!
