Player Development Center Training - Carpenter Complex

Thirteen pitchers threw bullpen side sessions, three threw live BP’s.  Darick Hall, Cristian Pache and Rafael Marchan took BP on Carlton Field and also live BP on Roberts Field.  I continue to be impressed by twenty year old RHP Micah Ottenbreit, got to watch his bullpen session today as he continues his rehab work, can envision when he’s fully recovered and ready to go, has a very good mix of pitches and can also pop the heater, along with RHP Christian McGowan who also threw a bullpen today and continues his rehab path back (he’s got a power arsenal of pitches). They are two starting pitchers who will make a big impact on the system when healthy.
