RH Mick Abel - 6 IP, 1 R, 3 H, 4 BB, 8 K’s -  98 pitches - 63 strikes - after a sluggish start to begin the game followed by a brief chat with catcher Garrett Stubbs, Mick settled in and once again dominated - at one point retired nine batters in a row - four seamer sat in the 94-98 mph range (52 pitches), sinker 93-97 mph (14 pitches), curve (19 pitches - 10 swings, six misses - 79-83 mph), slider and change up - Mick was Mick - IMO he’s the best pitcher in the PD system at present with his moxy, confidence, stuff (curve is really good and FB legit) and IMO is major league ready - good stuff 👀🔥.
