Did Ya Know 🧐 :

DOUBLE, DOUBLE, TOIL, & PEGUERO: With his two-run double last Wednesday, Liover Peguero moved into the top spot in the IL for doubles with his 16th of the season. No 'Pig has ever led the IL in 2B. Despite the doubles, Peguero has strangely not homered yet this season. Since 2005, only seven hitters have even hit 20 doubles without hitting a homer on the season, the last being Darren Baker for Rochester in 2024. In Major League baseball history, Nap Lojoie has the most doubles without a homer in a season, collecting 48 doubles in the 1906 season without hitting a homer. The last with 20+ doubles and zero homers was Myles Straw in 2022. Peguero is still searching for his first homer, but did get his first non-2B XBH on Friday, a triple. - Sam Jellinek - Manager, Broadcasting & Media Relations - Lehigh Valley IronPigs

At the time of his promotion, Wood was seventh in the Florida State League in strikeouts. Wood joins the Fighitn Phils less than one year following his selection in the first round (26th overall) by the Phillies out of Arkansas, where he pitched from 2023-25. - Jake Starr - Reading Director of PR/Media Relations, Client Fulfillment & Broadcaster
