Scoring Summary :

Garrett Stubbs singled in the second inning (he’s reached base in 17 consecutive games), went to second on a passed ball and scored on a double by Cal Stevenson.

Blake Sabol homered for Worcester in the seventh inning.  A single, walk and double scored another run.

Rodolfo Castro singled in the eighth inning, stole second base and scored on a single by Otto Kemp.

The game went into extra innings.

A fielder’s choice, single and hit batter loaded the bases for Worcester in the tenth - Blake Sabol hit a grand slam.

Justin Crawford singled in the bottom of the tenth to score the placed runner Rafael Lantigua. Crawford stole second base, Otto Kemp walked. With one out Christian Arroyo singled to load the bases.  Crawford scored when Garrett Stubbs reached on a force out at second base.

Justin Crawford had two hits (singles) and an RBI - he’s reached base in 16 straight games. Garrett Stubbs had two hits (singles). Christian Arroyo had two hits (singles). Cal Stevenson doubled.

RH Nasbil Crismatt - 6 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 3 BB, 5 K’s - 89 pitches - 59 strikes -18 consecutive scoreless innings at home to begin the season. Lowers his season ERA to 2.31 in 39 IP (7 starts). Doesn’t throw hard (FB 87-89 mph) but uses a five pitch mix, hits spots and uses the batter’s aggression against them. He yielded five earned runs in his first start (4/1) but was fooling that day it seems as since then in 35 IP has allowed just five earned runs (1.29 ERA).

RH Michael Mercado - 2/3 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 1 BB, 2 K’s - 30 pitches - 15 strikes

RH Guillo Zuniga - 1.1 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 1 BB, 1 K - 17 pitches - 10 strikes - lowers season ERA to 0.90 in 10 games (10 IP) - 26 year old has been consistent 96-99 mph with power sinker offsetting hard slider.

RH Joel Kuhnel - 1.2 IP, 4 R - 3 earned, 4 H, 0 BB, 0 K’s - 36 pitches - 23 strikes.

RH Austin Schulfer - retired only batter he faced  - ground out - 4 pitches - 2 strikes

Josh Breaux hit the first pinch-hit homer of the season for the 'Pigs last Tuesday. The 'Pigs had one pinch-hit jack last year (Nick Podkul). It was Breaux's first ever PH appearance. A triple and throwing error (second baseman Devin Saltiban) scored a run for Aberdeen in the third inning.

Luke Davis singled in the fourth inning, Kehden Hettiger walked. Pierce Bennett singled to score Davis, Hettiger scored after Bennett got caught in a run down and advanced to second when the fielders couldn’t record an out in the run downs. Zach Arnold doubled to score Bennett. Devin Saltiban reached on a throwing error by Aberdeen’s shortstop - Arnold scored on the play.

A double, single, walk and passed ball scored two runs for Aberdeen in the seventh inning.

A walk, stolen base and two out single scored a run for Aberdeen in the ninth inning to tie the game.

Carson DeMartini walked to lead off the bottom of the ninth. He stole second base.  Luke Davis walked. Kehden Hettiger hit a three run walk off home run.

Luke Davis had two hits (singles) and walked twice.  Zach Arnold doubled. Kehden Hettiger homered, posted three RBIs and walked twice. Pierce Bennett singled, walked twice and posted two RBIs. Carson DeMartini singled and walked twice, he stole two bases.

The NEWClaws...The BlueClaws have added two players to the roster this week – IF Cole Roberts and LHP Erubiel Armenta…Roberts joins from Reading where he was 3-11…He signed with the Phillies in February and was released by the Diamondbacks organization last year…He is the son of Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. A single, walk and two wild pitches scored a run for St Lucie in the first inning. A walk, two singles and a ground out scored two runs for St Lucie in the second inning.

Dante Nori walked in the third inning, stole second, went to third on a throwing error and scored on a sacrifice fly by Brady Day.

Two walks, a hit batter, single and sac fly fly scored two more St Lucie runs in the third inning.  A single and double scored a fourth inning run.

Scoring Summary :

Kevin Verde homered in the third inning for the Yankees.

Manolfi Jimenez reached on a fielding error in the fourth inning. Jorge Julio singled to send him to third base.  A throwing error by the catcher as Julio stole second allowed Jimenez to score.

A double, throwing error (left fielder Manolfi Jimenez) and ground out scored a run for the Yankees in the bottom of the fourth. Two fielding errors then put two runners on base, a double scored one however a runner was thrown out at the plate as right fielder Carter Mathison relayed a throw to first baseman Alirio Ferrebus who in turn threw to catcher Angel Mata.

A double, walk, three singles and a balk scored four runs for the Yankees in the fifth.

Carter Mathison and Alirio Ferrebus walked in the seventh inning, they advanced on a balk. Mathison scored on a ground out.

The Yankees scored a run in the bottom of the seventh on a single and double. A double and single scored an eighth inning run.
