International League (AAA) - Lehigh Valley 5 (25-12) Worcester 4 (18-18)

Scoring Summary :


Justin Crawford and Otto Kemp singled in the first inning, Gabriel Rincones Jr walked. Garrett Stubbs singled on a bunt to score a run. Oscar Mercado walked to score another.


Justin Crawford singled in the fifth, went to second on a throwing error, stole third and scored on a single by Buddy Kennedy.


Three walks loaded the bases for Worcester in the sixth inning - Nathan Hickey hit a grand slam.


Two walks and a single by Erick Brito scored a run in the bottom of the sixth.


Buddy Kennedy doubled to lead off the bottom of the ninth. Rodolfo Castro pinch ran for him. Garrett Stubbs put down a sacrifice bunt - the Worcester pitcher made a throwing error to first allowing Castro to score the walk off game winning run!

In the first inning Bryan Rincon walked, stole second, went to third on a throwing error by the catcher and then scored on a balk.


Aberdeen scored three in the second inning on two doubles, a single, sacrifice bunt and single.  A double, fielding error and two singles scored three runs for them in the third inning.


A double, walk, stolen base and sacrifice bunt scored an Aberdeen run in the fifth frame.


Bryson Ware doubled in the bottom of the fifth, two ground outs later he scored.


Matt Higgins homered in the sixth inning.


A single, balk, ground out and wild pitch scored an Aberdeen run in the seventh inning.


Bryson Ware and Jordan Viars walked in the bottom of the seventh, Ware advanced to third on a fly out and scored on a balk.


Kehden Hettiger walked in the eighth inning and scored on a triple by Pierce Bennett.


Bryan Rincon singled in the ninth and scored when Dylan Campbell reached on a strikeout/throwing error.

Walk-Off Bombs…Kehden Hettiger’s walk-off home run on Tuesday was the second for the BlueClaws since they became a High-A affiliate in 2021 – Felix Reyes on 9/3/23 also vs Aberdeen…Reyes, ironcially, hit a walk-off home run for Reading on Sunday (Cole Roberts was with Reading on Sunday and the BlueClaws on Tuesday)…the previous BlueClaws walk-off

home run was hit by Ben Pelletier on 8/15/19 off Delmarva (also an Orioles affiliate) closer Felix Bautista. - Greg Giombarrese - Vice President - Communications - Jersey Shore BlueClaws

Eduardo Tait singled in the first inning, Griffin Burkholder doubled. Brady Day singled to score them both.


A single and triple scored a run for St Lucie in the second inning.


Aroon Escobar homered in the third inning. Dante Nori and Eduardo Tait singled. Griffin Burkholder hit a sacrifice fly to score Nori.


Avery Owusu-Asiedu walked in the sixth inning and scored on Aroon Escobar’s second home run of the game.


Trace Willhoite homered for St Lucie in the seventh.  A single, two walks, double and sacrifice fly scored two more.


Diego Gonzalez walked in the eighth inning, went to third on a single by Avery Owusu-Asiedu and scored on a sacrifice fly by Aroon Escobar.


A double and single scored a run for St Lucie in the eighth.

The Tigers scored three runs in the first inning - one on a home run by Jose Dickson and two on a home run by Enrique Jimenez.    They scored a run in the second on a single, ground out advancement and single.


Manolfi Jimenez singled in the bottom of the second, a run scored when Jorge Julio singled to right field and the fielder made an errant throw to third attempting to get Jimenez out.


Carter Mathison doubled in the fourth inning and scored when Angel Mata singled. Cesar Mujica walked in the fifth inning, went to third on a double by Jose Familia and scored on a sacrifice fly by Alirio Ferrebus.


A single and triple scored a run for the Tigers in the sixth.


At Bat : 3 R, 7 H, 2 BB, 6 K’s


Manolfi Jimenez had two hits (singles). Carter Mathison, Jose Familia and Adrian Garcia each doubled.
